The Utility Meter Seal is a high quality but cost-efficient wire security seal. The additional protection cap and unique locking design make it highly tamper evident. The Utility Meter Seal comes with a poly carbonate body and an acetal tab that is available in a variety of colours. The utility meter seal is corrosion resistant, it can be embossed with a logo and contains laser marked sequential serial numbers on both surfaces as standard.
The utility meter seal can be supplied with coated or non-coated Stainless-Steel wire with the sealing wire supplied on a coil. Allowing the customer the option of choosing whatever length of wire is required. It is easy to apply without the use of any tools. The utility meter seal has a one directional rotatable locking mechanism to prevent extraction of sealing wire from its body.
Heat staking is used to permanently affix the twister inside the seal’s body. If the seal is cut or forced open, this will leave clear evidence of tampering.
Mini Cable Seal – The Mini Cable Seal is a popular, user friendly & affordable, higher security option for sealing meters or valves. It is moulded with high-impact ABS material with a galvanized steel wire rope. The high-resilient ABS material does not break easily but will clearly show evidence of tampering. The Mini Cable Seal is etched with permanently laser marked sequential serial numbers.
High Security Padlock – The High Security Padlock Seal is etched with permanent laser marked sequential serial numbers as standard. Laser marking offers the highest level of security as it cannot be removed or replaced without clear evidence of tampering. The combination of ABS body with a wire hasp provide both strength and durability. The transparent body means a quick visual check is all that is required to confirm that that the seal is properly locked. It provides an alternative to conventional padlocks whilst giving clear tamper evidence.
For applications such as sealing meter box doors then our Security Labels are ideal as they provide a clear visual indication of tampering by revealing a hidden void message which alerts people to the risk that the product may have been tampered with.
